Mili the Artist

Mili absolutely loves her drawing board/desk/tv tray. You saw it right....that is actually a tv tray but we use it as a white/dry erase board.

We have been drawing nativity scenes for months with every detail. She forgets nothing in her drawings (I will try to get a picture of that some time too).

While I was gone one night Brian and Mili were drawing Larry the Cucumber and Bob the Tomato. Mili did her impression of Bob and Brian was floored. They saved it for me to see. Mili drew this with no help. I am starting to think she has some kind of photographic memory the way she can copy things and "read" books back to you almost word for word (Brian and I are a little freaked out by it sometimes).

We try not to be those parents that always think their kids are better (even though ours are) but come on, look at the detail in her Bob the Tomato.

You all better get her signature now because I give it maybe two more years and she will be famous.....smile. Remember Mili is 2 years and 9 months old.

I guess this is worth the numerous pj's that have marker on them and washing it off her hands and face daily.

That's an awesome drawing! I was always drawing as a child and I haven't done it in awhile. I used to win tickets to the rodeo and other stuff. I sort of miss it but I never know what to draw anymore now that I'm grown...

Looks like God gave Mili a wonderful talent. She is a true artist! You are such encouraging parents and that's awesome. And I agree, by the sounds of it maybe she does have some sort of phtographic memory, I guess you'll see as time goes by. Glad you are all on the mend.
Love Dawn :)
